What Is The CFMoto UForce 1000 Top Speed?

With a V-Twin engine that makes around 79 horsepower, it can handle any terrain or work task, and it has enough power for a decent top speed, factory set at 50 mph (80 km/h)

The UForce 1000 has the potential to go much faster, it all has to do with the circumstances and the alternations you did.

See, for example, the next video with a UForce 1000 Overland, it will blow your mind.

The manufacturer’s top speed may not always be accurate because of numerous things.

The listed top speed may not be accurate because it is based on ideal conditions that may not always be present in real-world situations. The vehicle’s top speed can be affected by factors such as wind resistance, terrain, and altitude. As a consequence, the actual top speed may be lower than what is listed by the manufacturer.

Also, the top speed may vary depending on how many passengers and cargo the vehicle is carrying and how heavy they are.

Another factor that can affect the accuracy of the listed top speed is the way in which it is measured. Manufacturers may use different ways to measure top speed, so the numbers may not always be the same. Some manufacturers may use a GPS to measure top speed, while others may use a speedometer.

Boosting The UForce Engine.

The top speed depends on several factors, such as power, drivetrain, weight and aerodynamics. It will also depend on some external conditions such as road terrain, weather, and the road slope.

Adding accessories and ramping up your UForce will surely increase its top speed. But it will come at the cost of voiding your warranty (if you still have some warranty duration left). If your vehicle’s warranty is covered, I would advise not introducing changes to it.

Although you will be able to drive much faster after the upgrades, increased speed may cause more wear and tear to your machine, eventually needing more maintenance than usual.

1. ECM Tuning
2. Use Better Fuel
3. Correct Tire Size
4. An Aftermarket Clutch Kit
5. Upgrade the Exhaust
6. High-Flow Air Filters
7. Fitting a Big Bore Kit

By following the below steps, it is possible to enhance the power and maximum speed of your UForce. However, it is important to note that there are risks involved, and you assume them at your own discretion.

1. Changing The ECU Settings.

The CFMoto UForce 1000 is equipped with an Engine Control Unit (ECU). Various engine functions, such as fuel injection, ignition timing, and throttle response, are controlled by the ECU.

You can change the ECU settings to improve the top speed. Modifying the ECU settings may void the warranty and may not be legal in some areas. Also, any changes to the ECU should be done carefully and with the right knowledge and tools.

You can use a diagnostic tool to change the CFMoto UForce 1000s ECU settings. Using the diagnostic tool, you can connect to the ECU and change the settings, such as the fuel map and ignition timing, to make the engine run better.

Here are the general steps to modify the ECU settings:

  1. Obtain a diagnostic tool that is compatible with the CFMoto UForce 1000s ECU.
  2. Connect the diagnostic tool to the vehicle’s ECU according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  3. Use the diagnostic tool to access the ECU’s settings and modify the parameters related to fuel mapping, ignition timing, and other performance-related settings.
  4. Save the new settings to the ECU and test the vehicle’s performance to see the improvements.

After discussing with many mechanics and fellow CFMoto enthusiasts, I’ve gathered a list of diagnostic tools that definitely come highly recommended for anyone looking to tune-up their CFMoto UForce 1000’s ECU settings. These tools have been particularly used by those who drive the CFMoto UForce 1000 with custom settings.

Diagnostic Tool Price My Thoughts
Autel MaxiCOM MK808 OBD2 Diagnostic Scan Tool $459.99 Advanced features, suitable for various vehicles.
FOXWELL NT301 OBD2 Scanner $99.99 Budget-friendly, basic diagnostics.
Innova 5610 CarScan Pro $349.99 Professional-grade, offers ECU coding and more.

2. Better Fuel

Go for a higher-octane fuel if you want your UForce 1000 to have more power and drive faster. Since higher-octane fuel burns more thoroughly, your engine will run better if you switch to it. Also, it is more fuel efficient and protects your rig because the mechanical parts of the fuel system don’t corrode as often.

You should notice a distinct performance boost. Even though higher-octane fuel is more expensive than regular fuel, it’s fun to press the accelerator. Because the many rig owners prefer a healthier increase than what is offered at a gas station, they raise the octane level themselves.

You may pour some fuel into the gas tank and vigorously shake your CFMoto to mix it thoroughly. It’s also possible to pre-mix the fuel in a gas can before adding it to the gas tank.

Minimum 89 Octane unleaded is recommended for your ATV (maximum 10% ethanol is allowed)

3. Appropriate Size, Weight, and Pressure of Tires

Consider getting bigger tires to accelerate faster and reach a higher top speed. Bigger tires turn harder and go further every revolution. Depending on the surface, tire pressure might also affect performance. While riding on flat, firm surfaces is best with higher tire pressure, riding in sand or snow is quicker with lower tire pressure.

The common steel wheels and large mud tire combinations frequently restrict your vehicle’s speed. Consider getting lightweight aluminum rims and high-performance tires to make your UForce quicker. Pick the appropriate tire size for your work or hobby.

Factory Set Tire Size Is Sometimes Not Accurate

It appears that the speed reading is incorrect on some UForce 1000 ATVs. This can lead to large differences in speed. You think you are driving very fast, but in some cases there can be a deviation of 15%.

This deviation has to do with the tire size (circumference), which is factory set. If a different tire size (circumference) is installed on your UForce 1000, the speed will be different. The speedometer displays a speed based on the tire circumferences.

If you want to check which tire size is factory set or intend to change the size, I recommend that you watch the next video. It explains step-by-step what to do.

4. A Clutch Upgrade

Installing an aftermarket clutch will make your rig respond faster and go faster. It changes your RPM curve to make the most power possible. So, with the proper upgrade, you can also boost your top speed and acceleration. The kits usually come with new springs and weights that change the self-adjustment timing and speed.

It is easy to adapt clutch kits for various riding styles, riding environments, and engine swaps. It is advantageous to use a clutch kit since it improves torque, power, top speed, and throttle responsiveness. Belt life is longer because of less belt slippage and heat buildup.

I personally recommend the RJWC kits for the CFMOTO UForce 1000. It’s the one everyone seems to use, and my good buddy with a UForce 1K swears by it. It’s amazing to watch how it transforms the response times in his setup.

5. High-Flow Air Filters

You should frequently check and clean your air filter. The air in the combustion chamber will be reduced if your air filter is dirty, which will cause your engine to suffocate as you drive. It is possible to swap out the standard air filter for a high-flow air filter. RJWC is a top manufacturer of air filters for almost all CFMOTO UTV and ATV models.

More airflow to the engine is possible with the improved intake, and a greater air-fuel combination results in more power. That’s one of the simplest ways to make your machine work better. Prices for are typically under $100. Below is the UTV variant to the ATV version I use on my CFMOTO CFORCE. Other UFORCE 1000 users also can vouch for this high flow filter as well.

6. Exhaust Upgrade

It is common practice to upgrade the UForce 1000 exhaust system to increase a rig’s performance. It lets the engine draw in more air because it exhausts more air. When used with a high-flow air intake system, this arrangement performs better.

When budget constraints are present, a performance slip-on muffler is the preferred alternative to replacing the exhaust system. That is the most common technique because it lets you replace your factory-installed muffler with a generally lighter one. Furthermore, slip-on mufflers have cores that offer substantially higher exhaust flow rates than the extensively baffled standard systems.

The power you get with a performance slip-on muffler is more, but it’s still less than what you would get with a full-performance exhaust system. Use the slip-on or full exhaust systems with a high-flow intake system for more powerful performance.

Performance exhaust systems frequently resemble cones and gradually grow larger or wider than factory exhaust systems. Because of its shape, more air can pass through the engine, and a richer air-fuel mixture makes the engine power and speed increase. There are CFMoto slip-on mufflers in the $375 price range. but for the best performance for a decent price you can find one for about $1000. I’m recommending the only performance exhaust I have seen deliver good results in the wild below!

7. Fitting a Big Bore Kit

Using a Big bore kit, you can make your rig perform better, including its acceleration and maximum speed. A Big bore kit expands the cubic capacity of your engine. If you decide to install the equipment, you will usually need to replace the piston and cylinder with bigger ones.

The kit improves the performance of your UForce 1000 because it permits more air, fuel, and mixture into the combustion chamber.  I would recommend an option her but the company that I know that makes them no longer does ? . Once I get info on a good alternative I will for sure update this post!
